COLLABORATIVE ACTIVITIES (MOU)

The college has active MOUs with several institutions which provide an excellent platform for faculty and student exchanges. Various conferences and workshops are organised jointly with the objective of preparing students, alumnae and other interested aspirants for competitive examinations. Apart from these, various courses like FDP, SDP, certificate courses and skill development trainings are also organised where eminent faculties and professional experts visit to enrich students and staff by enhancing their academic and professional skills. Emphasis is being given on development of joint research activities while implementing matters related to research, research scholars and research guides of collaborative institutions. This is the call of the hour for implementation of NEP 2020 curriculum. The institutions will follow the rules and regulations of the Government and the affiliating universities as and where applicable. Industry-based collaborations will provide internship opportunities. Value added courses and skill enhancement courses will also be conducted on a regular basis in tune with the NEP curriculum. The college is strengthening the Incubation Centre for skill development and for preparing future entrepreneurs. To motivate students for self-employment, different programmes and seminars are being jointly organised by the collaborative institutions. Collaborative endeavour aims to create a strong and effective relationship between the institution and its social community through need-based outreach activities of NSS, NCC and Social Outreach Cell. Joint efforts are made to motivate students to participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities like sports, research projects, festivals, cultural programmes, academic events and competitions such as elocution, debate, poster competition and essay writing. These initiatives help in better attainment of programme outcomes and course outcomes and are part of the strategic plans of the college policy-making body to achieve the goal of students’ progression.
